Margaret E. Scheve was long regarded as the best known and most popular woman minister within the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church. Born Feb. 27, 1907 in Palisade, CO, she graduated from Colorado State University 1929 and from Iliff School of Theology 1934. She is best known from her job as assistant to the Bishop from 1951-1973.
